WEST KELOWNA

Located on the western shores and hillsides of Okanagan Lake is the stunning community of West Kelowna. Though the city started out as a district, the growing number of residents in the area helped it to gain City status in 2015. Now populated with nearly 35,000 people, the community is one of the largest in the Okanagan Valley and continues to grow into a more urban centre. 

There is never a shortage of things to do right at home in West Kelowna. The city is home to beautiful beaches, hills, and vineyards that serve as excellent recreation for its active residents, and for those who appreciate the scenic beauty of the community. Alongside Gellatly Road is a lakefront trail and swimming areas including Willow Beach that residents frequent and embrace. With many community and regional parks found throughout the municipality, outdoor space is plentiful for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike. Those who enjoy sport for fun or exercise can find many soccer fields and golf courses for recreational play within the area. For indoor entertainment, Royal LePage Place arena is host to many hockey games, figure skating, ringette and other great events each year.
